It is an honour for us to constitute collaboration between Canadian and Belarusian businesses in the forest industry. We extend our gratitude to the Embassy of Belarus in Canada and to the Trade Commissioner Service of Canada in Belarus for their support and participation.
Taking into account the wood cluster development approach and based on the feedback of participants, we revealed some opportunities within the industry and foresee the following developments:
CERBA will enhance the sustainable timber policy dialogue and connect in this regard responsible development and government institutions, financial entities (development banks and venture companies), and businesses.
CERBA will be raising awareness in Canada and Belarus about best practices of implementation of circular economy projects in the timber industry and responsible business conduct.
CERBA will support timber industry knowledge sharing activities such as international technical cooperation processes, legal advice, tender processes, best marketing and sales practices that will take the form of business missions, round tables, and B2B meetings.
CERBA will enhance its collaboration with Belarusian and Canadian businesses in the sector of the timber value-added products including mass timber, biotechnologies and others.
